Zach Sullivan is an Economist at the Federal Trade Commission and an affiliate researcher at the Nudge4 Solutions Lab at the University of Virginia. He earned his PhD in Economics at the University of Virginia in 2019. Zach’s research focuses on the determinants of where low-income students choose to attend college and their outcomes of graduation. Specifically, he examines how financial incentives to apply to selective colleges, college advising, and higher education funding police affects where low-income students enroll. He also examines how student loan debt affects early-career decisions for low-income students.
