Katharine Meyer is a postdoctoral research associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University and an affiliate researcher at the Nudge4 Solutions Lab at the University of Virginia. She earned her PhD in Education Policy as well as an MPP, MEd, and BA in Government from UVA. Her research focuses on a variety of strategies to support low-income students and families as they navigate educational investment junctures, including projects providing low-touch support navigating the postsecondary transition, examining the effectiveness of various counseling models to guide students’ choices, and exploring opportunities to leverage non-school institutions such as libraries to advance students’ learning.
